Join us for an exciting, info packed day on Advanced anaesthesia and analgesia. Delving into anaesthesia can be a daunting task, this day will equip you with the tips and tricks you need to help confidently control consciousness.We will be looking into:

Preparation, preparing what we need to know and do to keep the anaesthesia as safe as it can be. Fluid Management, what to give and why and how we can monitor it’s input and output. All forms of hand/eye monitoring and the importance of the veterinary nurse and their role along side the veterinary surgeon Pain management, attacking the pain pathway with some description of local anaesthesia.  From Castrates to GDVs, we will discuss anaesthetic considerations, the use and interpretation of ECGs, capnography and blood pressure and hopefully have a chance to chat about your concerns and how we can work on our confidence in anaesthesia. 

This exciting day will be run via zoom so you can sit back and relax from the comfort of your own sofa with your feet up and a nice cup of tea :-)
